Hatha
This foundational class is meant to serve all students at any level
of their practice; it consists of spinal twists, hip openers and
inverted postures encouraging students to strengthen and open within
their natural boundaries.
Flow
This moderately paced class develops an awareness of breath and
movement while flowing from one posture to another. The level of
difficulty varies to reflect the level of students in each class.
Vinyasa
This dynamic class involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive
series of postures; it produces a purifying sweat that detoxifies
muscles and organs and is best suited to people with some previous
experience practicing basic yoga
postures.
Gentle
This slower class is for those seeking a gentler practice; it emphasizes
easing tension, increasing flexibility, and clarity with breath
and movement. Intro to Yoga
This class is designed to instruct novices (or practitioners who
would like a refresher) in the fundamental, classic yoga postures
and breathing techniques.
Meditation
This 30 minute community offering includes chanting mantra and silent
meditation. Everyone is welcome-by donation. Prenatal
This special class includes movement to help keep the body strong
for the process of labor and increase overall comfort during pregnancy;
breathing exercises to train the mind to stay calm and focused;
and relaxation to cultivate a conscious experience of the wonderful
changes happening to you and your growing baby. |
